It is with profound sorrow and regret that we inform you that Professor Dr. Arif Butt, former President of PIChE | Pakistan Institute of Chemical Engineers, former Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab and former Dean, Faculty of Chemical Engineering, has passed away. اِنّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُون
His funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janazah) will be offered today, 23 June 2026, after the Isha prayer at Masjid C Block, Model Town, Lahore.

“Digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Digital Twins in Chemical Plants"

The session will be conducted by Engr. Umer Iqbal, Professional Chemical Engineer, Industry Consultant, and Executive Member of PIChE.
