The world has started utilizing the renewable energy sources to save depleting gas, oil and coal reserves. There are more than 6 billion people in this world. Most of them have been trying to disturb the natural cycle every day. As a result, natural sources have become limited, clean water has disappeared, land has become barren and air has become polluted. That is why, world is moving towards ren
ewable and sustainable energy sources. China has 7 million small scale biogas digesters and over 20 million users have been using biogas as a fuel. Similarly India has more than 5 million biogas small and large scale plants with the target of 12 million plants till 2030 to produce 17000MW electricity through cow dung only. Nepal, a small country with 28 million people, has 123,000 plants while in Pakistan with 174 million people there are only 5400 biogas plants. Biogas is a growth industry as the raw material is easily available. China is the initiator and now India is becoming the leader of this technology in Asian region. Sui-gas reserve will deplete in Pakistan in next 20 years whereas the prices of coal & oil are increasing each day. In this tense situation, Pakistan has the capacity to install 14 million domestic and 5 million community based biogas plants and we are having the most efficient technology in Pakistan. Biogas is one of major green energies that are appropriate, renewable and sustainable having least adverse effect on this Earth. In this regard, we have introduced a new biogas technology that not only provides daily natural gas (for cooking, heating, lighting, electricity generation) but also bio-fertilizer as by-product for best agriculture. This product pays back the customer within one year and has minimum life of 25 years if properly maintained. A lot of effort is put together in research & development by an expert team of young engineers & entrepreneurs under the experienced PhD advisory board. We have designed & developed Uetians Hybrid Model & Uetians Triplex Model that have been innovated first time in the world. We are also designing a Model Biogas Industry and a Model Biogas Village in collaboration with SNGPL. LPG is expensive and scarcely available energy resource while wood is also expensive and a well-known environment hazard. On average, the monthly income of a rural family ranges between Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 20,000. Local LPG providers are selling the LPG for Rs. 2000 per month to the 30% population of the village. Local wood providers are providing wood for Rs. 1200 per month to the rest of the population. In agriculture sector, another mandatory expense is buying the “Organic & Synthetic Fertilizer” for Rs. 50,000/ton & Rs. 60,000/ton respectively. According to the latest survey, 65% population of Pakistan is living in rural areas. Unavailability of Sui gas and expensive alternatives (Liquefied Petroleum Gas and wood) in rural areas reinforce the need of efficient and cost-effective solutions to energy problems. At present, there are only 5400 biogas plants in Pakistan which are inefficient due to the lack of technical know-how, unskilled labor and poor management. PAK-Energy Solution provides a unique, environment friendly & cost-effective solution for provision of natural gas. Our solution is not just about conserving the depleting energy sources; it is about generating incomes and employment especially in the rural areas of Pakistan. This technology also completes green cycle (Ecosystem). The crop that grows from earth is fed to the animal that produces milk and bio-waste. The bio waste is used in our product which fulfills the daily need of natural gas of our customers and produces the bio-fertilizer that goes back into the crops and increase the quality and production of our crops. CO2 that emits from burning is captured back by the crops. That also helps us in reducing the global warming. We use radio, Kisan TV, user-friendly brochures and arrange informal seminars for spreading awareness and to build close relationships with locals. Our product requires 20 days of operational phase in order to produce biogas.
