Bringing Solar to the Doorstep: How LONGi Solar’s Village Outreach Is Powering Pakistan’s Clean Energy Future
As Pakistan grapples with rising energy costs, an unreliable grid, and the urgent need to transition toward cleaner and more sustainable power sources, solar energy has emerged as one of the country’s most viable long-term solutions.
While large-scale solar projects and urban rooftop installations often dominate the conversation, a significant portion of Pakistan’s rural and semi-urban population still lacks direct access to reliable information, trusted solar products, and practical, hands-on demonstrations of how solar technology works in real life.
Addressing this critical gap, LONGi Solar has adopted an on-ground, people-first approach through its Mini Van Village Tour, bringing solar awareness, education, and solutions directly to local communities.
With the support of its local partner Bulzap Electric, LONGi has rolled out this mobile initiative across rural and suburban areas of Multan, Punjab. Locally known as the “LONGi Van Project,” the Mini Van Village Tour functions as a traveling experience center—designed to demystify solar technology and demonstrate how clean energy can reduce household costs, improve energy reliability, and empower communities.
Building on this grassroots momentum, LONGi Solar is now set to further strengthen its presence in Pakistan by opening its office in collaboration with Abbasi Renewable Energy - ARE under the REBhub Group. This strategic collaboration reflects a shared vision to expand solar adoption, enhance local engagement, and accelerate Pakistan’s transition toward sustainable energy solutions.
By combining community-level outreach with institutional presence and partnerships, LONGi Solar aims to bridge the gap between awareness and adoption—bringing solar power not just to rooftops, but to the very doorsteps of Pakistan’s people.
