🎉 UET Lahore Shines at FORGE-2026!
A delegation from the Department of Polymer and Process Engineering, UET Lahore, took part in FORGE-2026, the FFC International Conference on Future Operations for Research in Green Environment, hosted by GIKI Institute, Topi, on 13-14 October 2026.

Ms. Hafiza Nimra Khalid ,Syed Ali Younus and Azghan Abdullah presented the Membrane Lab Research Center's poster, "Boosting Decarbonization Efficiency of Anisotropic Dual-Layer Composite Membranes Containing M*F and Graphene Nanoparticles", under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Sarfaraz, Associate Professor.
UET Lahore was also honored with a commemorative shield for attendance as a delegation, in recognition of its distinguished contribution and support. Congratulations to the whole team! 👏

🏭 Industrial Tour to SPEL Industry

On 09 October 2026, the Department of Polymer & Process Engineering organized an industrial tour to SPEL Industry, giving students a valuable opportunity to explore industrial operations, gain practical knowledge, and connect their academic learning with real world industrial practices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Zia Hyder Naqi (CEO, SPEL Group) for providing our students this wonderful learning opportunity and welcoming us to the industry.

We are also sincerely thankful to our respected Chairman, Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, and Dr. Aamir Shehzad (Industrial Liaison & In-charge, Internships and Placements) for their valuable support and efforts in making this educational visit possible.

Such visits play a vital role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience and in preparing future polymer engineers for professional challenges.
