Two PhD students from the Semiconductor Physics and Devices Laboratory (SPD LAB), Department of Physics, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan—Ms. Sapna Rahman, who will visit Columbia University, USA, and Ms. Namra Hadi, who will visit King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia—are scheduled to undertake six-month research visits this month under the HEC Pakistan’s IRSIP funding scheme. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad called on the students in his office, where he commended the efforts of their supervisor, Dr. Muhammad Tahir, Principal Investigator of the SPD LAB, for securing placements for his students in top-ranked international universities. He encouraged the students, wished them the best of luck in their research endeavors, and reaffirmed that AWKUM is committed to supporting academic excellence and promoting international research exchange opportunities.
