The meeting focused on infrastructure development, industrial expansion, and promoting mutually beneficial collaborations — reinforcing the zone’s pivotal role in driving Pakistan’s economic growth.

A significant milestone of the dialogue was the 2nd round of negotiations for the establishment of a $1 billion Medical City at DSEZ. Led by Mr. Meng Xiaowei, President of the China-Pakistan (Shandong) Precision Research and Innovation Enterprise Alliance and Vice President of the China-Pakistan International Medical Industrial Park Project, this transformative project is poised to elevate Pakistan’s healthcare landscape, promote innovation, and strengthen international healthcare partnerships.

Strengthening Strategic Partnerships: Dhabeji Special Economic Zone Cooperation Dialogue

ZKB Group (Official Developer of DSEZ) was privileged to participate in a high-level meeting on February 22, 2025, aimed at exploring collaboration opportunities within the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone. This virtual session, held across Karachi and Islamabad, convened key stakeholders from the Chinese Embassy, delegations from Hunan and Guangdong provinces, POWERCHINA, and MERAPC Solutions.

Our senior leadership - Mian Faizullah (CEO South), Nooran Shah (Director), Syed Hassan Ali (Head of Growth), Danish Wali (Project Manager Mining), Irfan Khan (Head of Business Development), Fahad Mangi (Head of Pre-Contract), and Dua Ali (Legal Advisor) - actively contributed to discussions focused on identifying potential avenues for cooperation, promoting industrial growth, and enhancing bilateral economic relations between Pakistan and China.

This engagement reflects ZKB’s commitment to advancing industrial development through strategic international partnerships, supporting infrastructure growth, and contributing to the broader objectives of regional economic integration.
