✈️ The Flight That Never Lands
Imagine this: you buy a plane ticket. You pay for it, full price, no hidden surprises (or so you think). The destination? Lisbon to New York. Exciting, right?
You board the plane, full of hope and anticipation. The engines roar, the plane lifts off, and you’re thinking, “Seven hours from now, I’ll be sipping coffee in Manhattan.”
After six hours, you politely ask the flight attendant, “When do we start landing?”
She smiles and says, “Soon.”
Okay, fine. “Soon” sounds good.
Three hours later, still no descent. The clouds look the same, your movie marathon is over, and your patience is thinning. You ask again, “Excuse me, when are we landing?”
“Soon,” she says again, with the same plastic smile.
A few more hours go by.
You finally ask to speak to the purser.
He nods wisely and says, “We’re not landing. The paperwork isn’t ready.”
“What?!” you ask.
“When will it be ready?”
“No idea,” says the purser cheerfully, walking away.
