Projeto de Monsanto
Entre a topografia e a cidade, o Projeto de Monsanto propõe uma nova forma de habitar o quarteirão.
A intervenção nasce de uma leitura atenta do território e das suas dinâmicas urbanas, partindo do respeito pelas relações formais e volumétricas que moldam o contexto urbano, reinterpretadas de forma contemporânea para consolidar a frente edificada e reforçar a coerência morfológica do conjunto.
Dois volumes habitacionais - o Bloco 9 de Abril e o Bloco Monsanto - desenham-se a partir da luz, da ventilação e da relação com o espaço público. A disposição desalinhada favorece o ganho solar, a ventilação cruzada e a criação de jardins privados e áreas verdes de uso coletivo, promovendo conforto, biodiversidade e bem-estar.
Mais do que uma operação de desenho urbano, o Projeto de Monsanto traduz uma reflexão sobre a relação entre densidade, sustentabilidade e contexto - uma arquitetura que se integra e respira com a cidade.

Between the topography and the city, the Monsanto Project proposes a new way of inhabiting the urban block.
The intervention emerges from a careful reading of the site and its urban dynamics, grounded in respect for the formal and volumetric relationships that shape the surrounding context, reinterpreted in a contemporary way to consolidate the street frontage and reinforce the morphological coherence of the area.
Two residential volumes - 9 de Abril Block and Monsanto Block - are defined by light, ventilation, and their relationship with the public realm. Their offset configuration enhances solar gain, natural cross-ventilation, and the creation of private gardens and collective green spaces, fostering comfort, biodiversity, and well-being.
More than an act of urban design, the Monsanto Project reflects on the balance between density, sustainability, and place - an architecture that integrates and breathes with the city.
