Fun an intense week in Germany with Norrbotten Big Band doing FOH-mixes as they where playing together with several different artist at Jazzahead in Bremen.

As this years partner country was Sweden, first night at the 20 years anniversary grand opening concert we played first set with Lisen Rylander Löve, Josefin Cronholm, Fredrik Ljungkvist and Angas Bros. Second set was with Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi. The artists in Knower.

We also set of to Hamburg for a quick stop with Knower playing at Nica Jazz Club.

Friday night we ended the ”Swedish Club Night” at Lankenauer Höft with Nine Sparks Riot.

Thanks to all musicians and local engineers.

Been hanging out with new people this week doing school concerts in the north of Sweden along with a public concert in Jokkmokk. A lot of nice talks in Norwegian 🤩, laughter and some tears mixed with your music have made this week just fly away. Thanks Kajsa Balto, Ragnhild Tronsmo Haugland and Aleksander Kostopoulus and also thanks Norrbottensmusiken for the job!

First set with, the winner of the last years newly established ”Wind music price” in jazz, saxophone player Edvin Ekman . And second set, composer in residence from last year at Studio Acusticum .acusticum, Karolina Almgren .almgren.
