If there’s one competition event at the IDE Series that always gets the loudest gasps and cheers… it’s SUMOBOT! 🤯⚡

Every clash, flip, and grapple kept the crowd on edge as teams faced off with robots built with smart programming and powerful mechanisms to outmatch their opponents.

It was truly an electrifying 2 days of high energy and epic robot clashes at the IDE Sumobot 2025 event ⚔️🔥

💻🧩 From colourful Scratch projects to complex Python puzzles, our young coders took on the challenge at the IDE Series 2025 Code Builder and Code Hacker events!

Participants showcased their programming talent and put their logic, creativity, and coding skills to the test, whether it was visual programming in Scratch 3.0 or solving computational problems in Python.

🌟 Great job to all participants for their creativity and determination! 🔥 Keep building, hacking and pushing boundaries!

🏁 The race was on at IDE Sprint 2025!

Using the LEGO Robotics platform, teams built, calibrated and coded their robots to perfection to create the fastest line-tracing racer on the track! ⚙️💨
From problem-solving to precision, every team showcased amazing teamwork, experimentation, and engineering excellence!

👏 Hats off to all Primary and Secondary teams, and stay tuned for more IDE Series 2025 moments!

Day 2 of the IDE Maker Competition was packed with ingenuity and fresh ideas! 🌟

❤️ A robotic companion for the elderly that combines technology with care to monitor health and provide company (Photo 1)
💧 An automatic plant watering system that ensures plants are kept healthy (Photo 3)
♻️ A trash-sorting robot equipped with an AI-powered camera to make recycling smarter (Photo 5)
🌿 A green wall maintenance robot that helps care for plants on vertical spaces (Photo 6)

From ideas to ex*****on, these young innovators showed us the power of teamwork, imagination, and a desire to make a difference.

Day 1 of the IDE Maker Competition event gave us a glimpse of what happens when creativity meets technology 💡

🧹 A toilet-cleaning robot designed to make everyday chores easier (Photo 2)
🧟 A Minecraft zombie game with a micro:bit twist that encourages seniors to stay active through play (Photo 4)
🌱 A plant-powered air purifier system that monitors and improves air quality (Photo 6)

🚀 Throwback to IDE Series 2025, where young innovators took on real-world challenges, pushed their limits and turned their ideas into solutions 🚀

Some highlights from this year’s competition events include:
🤖 IDE Sumobot – Robots faced off in a 30-second, head-to-head battle for ring domination.

⚡ IDE Sprint – Where teams raced custom LEGO robots in a high-speed line-tracing showdown.

🏁 IDE Robotics – Teams were challenged to build and code robots capable of taking on a rogue AI in a fully automated car factory.

🔧 IDE Maker – A test of creativity and engineering, with students turning their ideas into devices to tackle real-world problems.

IDE Series 2025 sparked innovation at every turn, and we’d like to thank the 2000+ competitors from all over Asia who came to participate, as well as our supporting partners and sponsors. We can’t wait to see what the next year will bring! 💫
