Tomorrow the season officially begins at Bikepark Schladming!

With over 42 km of trails, from flow and jump lines to technical downhill tracks, the park is ready for another season in the Austrian Alps.

We’re happy that our team had the opportunity to contribute a part of work to such an iconic riding destination.

👉 We’re looking forward to seeing riders back on the mountain.

Obvestilo 🏁

Z namenom zagotavljanja varne uporabe in ohranjanja urejenega videza vas obveščamo, da bodo v Športnem parku Grosuplje - Brezje potekala vzdrževalna dela.

Med 4. 5. in 8. 5. 2026 bodo dela izvajana na zelenih površinah in brežinah pumptrack poligona.

V času izvajanja del ter do ustrezne ozelenitve bo uporaba določenih površin in objektov omejena.

We’ve been installing information and warning signage across the trail centre to improve safety, navigation, and overall rider experience. Clear signage helps riders make better decisions on the trail and keeps the flow consistent for everyone.

Well-shaped rollers with smooth curves, an even asphalt finish, and precise transitions between elements all contribute to how the track rides. Careful design ensures that every feature works together as part of a cohesive line.

Update from Lovrenc na Pohorju 🏁

The asphalt layer is complete, bringing the track close to its final form.

Next up is the greening of the surrounding areas, after which the track will remain closed until the official opening as part of the new sports park.

Why “flow” is never accidental 🚲

Flow means a rider can maintain speed without pedaling, intuitively read the terrain, and connect individual elements into one smooth and continuous ride.

Achieving this requires careful design. The spacing between elements must be correct, the slopes and transitions need to work together, and the overall rhythm of the track (roller, berm, roller, jump) has to feel natural.

👉 When flow is done right, the track becomes equally fun for beginners and experienced riders

How to check if a pumptrack is beginner-friendly 👶🚲

Safety is not just about fences. It mainly depends on the design and construction of the track.

A well-designed beginner pumptrack features smooth transitions without sharp breaks, low rollers with long and forgiving shapes, and the option to bypass more difficult elements. Just as importantly, the riding line should be clear and easy to read.

Warning signs of poor design include sudden drops in height, narrow sections without a safe exit, or jumps that don’t offer an alternative line.

👉 The goal is simple: riders, especially children, should be able to progress with confidence and without fear.

After completing a pumptrack, we always take time to restore greenery around it. 🌿
For us, it’s important that the track and its surroundings become a welcoming place where people enjoy spending time even if they’re not riding laps all day.
