The hardest job in your factory may no longer be on the production floor.

It’s finding someone willing to do it.

Experienced workers are retiring. Applications are falling. And fewer people want repetitive, physically demanding jobs.

We hear it again and again:
“We can build another production line. We can’t find the people to run another shift.”

This is where automation changes the equation.

Not simply by reducing costs, but by taking over the tasks people no longer want to do and allowing them to focus on work where their skills and experience create more value.

It’s not about replacing people.

It’s about keeping production moving when the workforce simply isn’t there.

We recently visited Gorenje GSI, one of the largest industrial facilities in the region, to demonstrate where humanoid robotics stands today and explore where it could bring real value in production.

The biggest potential? Supporting people with physically demanding, repetitive and strenuous tasks that place a burden on employees day after day.

It’s great to see companies like Gorenje actively exploring new technologies and thinking ahead. This openness to progress is exactly what keeps Slovenian industry competitive.
