As AI load demand grows, LNG is being repositioned as the critical stability layer of modern energy systems.

The case is commercial, political and technical. Commercially, gas is the only generation source that's dispatchable, scalable and capable of sustained multi-hour output. Politically, it's being reframed in multiple markets as an enabler of the energy transition, not an obstacle. Technically, optimising fuel delivery to match real-time grid demand is itself becoming an AI problem, with dispatch decisions made at a speed manual operations can't match.

This session assesses the commercial, technical and political case for gas as the indispensable stability layer in AI-era energy systems.
