Bioplastic for a Livable World Resmi olarak 2020 yılında kurulan Innovaplast, Poli-ß-Hidroksibütirat (PHB) üreticisi bir biyoteknoloji şirketidir.

Mikrobiyolojik süreçlerle doğal ve yenilenebilir kaynaklardan %100 çözünebilen bakteriyel temelli biyoplastik (PHB) hammadde üreten Innovaplast, “Daha Yaşanabilir Bir Dünya için Biyopastik” sloganı ve vizyonu ile alternatif, çevre dostu ve yeni nesil biyoplastiklerin, tüm üretim alanlarında petrol kaynaklı plastiklerin yerini alması için AR-GE ve üretim faaliyetleri gerçekleştirmektedir.

ıldan bugüne hayatımızda büyük yer kaplayan plastiklerin kullanım alanları bazı avantajları nedeniyle gün geçtikçe genişlemektedir. Ancak bununla birlikte petrol kaynaklı plastiklerin neden olduğu çevre kirliği de artmakta ve acil çözüm bekleyen bir çevre sorununa dönüşmektedir. Innovaplast, plastiklerin sağladığı kullanım avantajlarından vazgeçmeden bu soruna çevre dostu bir çözüm sağlayarak ambalajlamadan medikal ürünlere kadar tüm sektörlerde petrol türevi plastikleri, biyoplastikle ikame etmektedir. Bunun için de fiyat ve performans özellikleri bakımından petrol türevi plastiklere eş değer olan ticari PHB’yi üreterek dayanıklı ve uygun maliyetli bir hammadde olarak sunmaktadır. Cerrahi işlemlerde kullanılan, insan fizyolojisi ile uyumlu medikal malzemeler, ambalaj malzemeleri, oyuncaklar ve besleme ekipmanları, biyoyazıcılar için farklı compoundlarda biyomürekkepler, Innovaplast’ın uygun hammadde sağladığı üretim alanları arasındadır. A new EU-funded chapter for Innovaplast in the circular bioeconomy 🌱

🌲 We are proud to announce that Innovaplast Biotechnology has been awarded EU funding under the HORIZON-JU-CBE-2025-RIA-01 call as part of the ReTREEsSURE project (Recovery of Tree Resources for Sustainable Use in Renewable Chemistry), focused on the valorisation of untapped forest biomass.

The project is coordinated by Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Ireland, bringing together a strong European consortium to unlock the potential of underutilised forest-based side streams and convert them into high-value, circular, and bio-based materials.

Within ReTREEsSURE, Innovaplast will contribute its industrial PHB and PHBV biopolymer production expertise, based on microbial precise fermentation and advanced downstream processing, enabling forest-derived feedstocks to be transformed into market-ready biodegradable plastics.

Being selected by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE-JU) highlights the role of Innovaplast in building a sustainable, circular and forest-based bioeconomy in Europe.

We look forward to working with TUS and our European partners to bring forest-based innovation from lab to market.
