Orta Anadolu

Orta Anadolu Since its inception, Orta has been weaving a denim heritage passed from generation to generation. At ORTA, sustainability is ‘business as usual’.

Founded in 1953, Orta transformed from a spinning & weaving company to a denim manufacturer in 1985. Today, Orta operates in Turkey with its 1000+ employees, creating a platform for leading manufacturers to step up and reclaim a denim industry where more aesthetics leads to more ethics. While our footprint is what we take from the planet when we consume, our handprint is what we give the planet wh

en we create change for the better. In an era of change,

ORTA’S handprint will promote denim manufacturing at the intersection of where people, planet, and purpose matter. OUR HANDPRINT MISSION:
• To reinvent the crass industrial weight of unsustainable manufacturing processes.
• To innovate with transformational biology and technology that promotes more aesthetics and ethics.
• To explore new horizons mentally, physically, emotionally, and sensorially.
• To celebrate the artisan.
• To support the human spirit of our co-workers, customers, and consumers.
• To make jeans matter for the next generation. Transparency, commitment, and trustworthiness are the key elements of Orta’s philosophy. Our aim is to create a more robust denim ecosystem where ART (DESIGN) MEETS TECHNOLOGY MEETS ETHICS for new infinite possibilities of denim today and tomorrow. As a company that incorporates emerging trends and fashion in its denim production, Orta collaborates with artists, designers, vintage dealers, and trend-setters. Every season, new Orta fabrics are accompanied by trend presentations, capsule packages, and seasonal journals reflecting the constantly evolving world of denim. Aiming to be a leading denim brand pursuing sustainable lifestyles and production, Orta founded its sustainability division Orta Blu in 2010.

We are proud to support the next generation of creative minds!

We had the pleasure of attending a special exhibition where 3rd-year Textile and Fashion Design students of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University brought their brilliant designs to life using ORTA fabrics. The overall level of construction, craftsmanship, and innovative details demonstrated a high standard of technical excellence. We are truly pleased to have contributed to the realization of these garments, delivered through the students’ boundless creativity, technical skill, and dedication to denim.

Swipe left to explore these inspiring looks from the exhibition!

A huge congratulations to all the talented students and teachers behind these designs:

Every year on April 22, Earth Day calls on us to re-evaluate our relationship with our planet. In a world shaped by climate uncertainty, sustainability is no longer just about minimizing our impact—it is about actively restoring balance and regenerating.

At Orta, we see denim not merely as a fabric, but as part of a living ecosystem. Guided by this year’s Earth Day theme, Our Power, Our Planet, we embrace the responsibility to turn intention into action. Driven by our deep commitment to climate-smart solutions, we continue to push forward with innovative approaches that support a more responsible future.

We create conscious, durable designs in harmony with nature, ensuring that the fabrics we produce today support the world of tomorrow. Because a resilient and healthy planet is the very foundation of “The Art of Living.”

THE ART OF ABUNDANCE
Maximalism with intention.

The Art of Abundance responds to global volatility not through reduction, but through expression. Where restraint offers calm, abundance offers release. THE ART OF ABUNDANCE celebrates richness, individuality, and sensory engagement, embracing texture, pattern, color, and volume as tools of emotional connection. Denim becomes expressive and generous, inspired by maximalist interiors, eclectic layering, and artful chaos.

THE ART OF ESSENCE
Minimalism with meaning.

The Art of Essence embraces a quieter, more intentional way of living where less is not about absence, but about clarity and purpose. In a world defined by excess and acceleration, this chapter focuses on elevated simplicity, durability, and thoughtful design. Clean constructions and tactile yet restrained surfaces create denim that feels calm, timeless, and deeply considered.

THE ART OF LIVING - AW 27/28

The Art of Living proposes a total living approach:
how we dress,
how we move,
how we experience our environment,
how we interact with objects, and
how the materials we choose support our lives.

Denim is no longer just a fabric; it becomes part of an ecosystem of living. Designed with intention, it supports daily rituals, adapts to real life, and contributes to a sense of balance and coherence.
