☆Protocols on Obia Wasi☆
-For Your Consideration-
The term Obia Wasi means a spiritual herbal, plant, root, and animal wash. Its scent is that of various plants mixed together in a large wooden, steel, or plastic container. Each plant, root, or ingredient carries specific powers that help create positive changes in one's life, including health, protection, financial favor, love, spiritual awakening, and more.
The client is first given a Kein Wasi (Clean Wash) to begin the process of removing negative energies from their aura and physical body. This is facilitated by the strong scent of the combined plants and bush ingredients; hence the name we carry in Saaran/Suriname-Businengre (Afrikans of the Forest/Bush).
*How to Wasi:*
You may wash and dry twice in one sitting if you must go to work or leave the house. Rinse with regular water to reduce the scent, but never use soap, as this affects the spiritual power that is building.
This should only be done if you must leave the house.
(Private details will follow.)
*Note on Obia Wasi:*
No offense is intended toward other spiritual paths or cultures in their modus operandi regarding spiritual washes. However, the practice described here is not simply a few plants in a bucket with red lavender, etc. Such washes are traditionally called LIMBA and are found within the folk-magic traditions of Hoodoo, Rootwork, and Conjure. These washes carry their own effectiveness, but our subject matter concerns Indigenous Kultural Washes.
You are not supposed to travel about while washing. Taking Obia Wasi is a special spiritual affair. The more you travel about or abandon the wash, the more you lose the building connection with the Wintis, TinBgana, Abosom—the Gods.
When you stay close to your Obia Wasi and wash frequently during the day and night, you develop a strong scent buildup and a stronger connection to the Gods and Ancestors. They hear you, see you, and assist you. However, many people either do not believe or, through ignorance, assume that the Gods must work on their terms.
There is much Kultural wisdom and power surrounding the secrets of Afrikan Indigenous Washes. All clans and traditions in Alkebulan (Afrika) possess knowledge of the plants. What varies is the depth of their wisdom, the hierarchical weight of their pantheon, and the guidance or interface they maintain with these divine entities and their ancestors.
We hope this medicine helps demystify some misconceptions regarding Indigenous Washes and encourages you to join us in reclaiming and utilizing all of our ancestral technologies.
