At Branch, building quality infrastructure is only part of what makes a good project, caring for every employee matters just as much.
Recently, the company brought in a medical team from Tanzania's Occupational Safety and Health Authority to conduct comprehensive health screenings for local employees at the project site. Doctors performed blood pressure checks, ECGs, and shared valuable health and safety tips with workers.
Many of our front line workers are so focused on construction that they rarely make time for regular checkups. This health initiative gave everyone a clearer picture of their well being and showed them that their health truly matters here.

Just performed a Chinese song on stage at the University of Dar es Salaam for UN Chinese Language Day. The theme was "Chinese: Illuminating Colorful Dreams," and I think that captures it perfectly. Language isn't just about communication — it opens a door to another culture, another way of experiencing the world.
Growing up in Tanzania but falling in love with Chinese language and culture? Sometimes even I find it a bit surreal. But music has this way of just... making sense. When you sing, distance disappears.

After the rain in Dar es Salaam, I opened the office door to the humid coastal air carrying that fresh, earthy smell that only comes after the rainy season downpours. The ground was still wet, and puddles reflected the sky, like another world gently rippling beneath our feet.
In moments like these, everything feels unexpectedly still. Working with my Chinese colleagues at CCCC Tanzania Branch, we may speak different languages, but we often understand each other in these quiet moments and small, everyday experiences.
The rainy season continues here in Tanzania, and so does our journey, slowly taking root, gradually becoming part of this place.

When people hear "saving energy," it often sounds like a big, abstract idea. But on a construction site, it comes down to the small things we do every day.
Turning off equipment when it's not needed, planning our work more efficiently, cutting down on idle time—these habits slowly become second nature.
Here in Tanzania, these small changes feel practical and meaningful. Step by step, they reflect a growing respect for the resources we use.

CCCC's commitment to protecting endangered species and the environment is alive and well here in Tanzania.
This place isn't just about construction—it's home to a rich and unique ecosystem. Animals like the black rhino are an essential part of this land. Throughout our project, we've emphasized balancing ecological protection with construction progress—from controlling our work zones to minimizing disturbance to surrounding habitats, we're taking every step we can to get this balance right.

April rain always comes without warning.
One moment the sun is blazing, the next moment everything stops for a sudden shower.
When the rain clears, the world feels gently washed clean. The air turns light and fresh, and even breathing carries a soft, faintly sweet moisture.
The small white flowers look sharper after the rain. Tiny water droplets rest on their petals, glistening like they've just been pulled from a stream.
Even the wind slows down, leaving behind a calm, comfortable coolness.

The rainy season has arrived, and for those of us working on site, safety is more important than ever.
I attended the company's rainy-season safety training today. Everything from equipment inspections and slip prevention to on-site emergency protocols was covered in clear, practical detail.
After working here for several years, one thing has become clear to me: we're not just building roads—the company is genuinely looking out for every one of us.
The rain is coming, but we're ready. 🌧️💪

To address the impact of the on construction in , Tanzania Branch recently organized a Rainy Season Construction Safety Training.
The training covered key topics including rainy season construction risks, safety hazards, preventive measures, and emergency response. Over 80 management personnel from the branch and project teams participated.
The session emphasized delivering knowledge to all workers through targeted training, work briefings, and toolbox talks, ensuring full awareness and strengthening safety management during the rainy season.

We appreciated the Women's Day wishes from CCCC Tanzania Branch, but what matters more to me are the everyday moments.
It's having our ideas listened to at work. It's being trusted with real responsibility. It's respect that's woven into daily routine.
In an industry as fast-paced as construction, more and more women are proving themselves through their work. What truly makes a difference is that this recognition isn't treated as exceptional—it's treated as normal.

The music lifts the whole place! The vibe is so lively, with everyone joining in and having a blast!

Happy International Women’s Day!
Every day, I feel grateful to work alongside women from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Though we may speak different languages and grow up in different traditions, we share the same dedication, resilience, and hope for a better future.
March is a season of beauty and renewal, when flowers bloom in their fullest colors. May every woman shine with confidence, stay gentle yet strong, embrace her own path, and live boldly without fear. Wishing all women a life that sparkles with purpose and joy. 妇女节快乐!

Today, the camp kitchen is busier than usual. I'm learning to make dumpling wrappers for the first time, with Chinese colleagues showing us how to shape them into gold ingots, wheat ears, and crescent moons. As we worked, we shared stories from our hometowns. Turns out, food really does transcend language barriers. The warmth in the air wasn't just from the steam rising from the pot, it was from the laughter too. Celebrating Chinese New Year here in Tanzania, we may come from different cultures, but we share the same spirit of togetherness.
