Introduction to Gold CIP Process
Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) is a gold recovery process where activated carbon is added directly into the leaching tanks to adsorb dissolved gold from cyanide solution.
The main stages of the CIP process include crushing, grinding, cyanide leaching, adsorption of gold onto activated carbon, elution, and final gold recovery.
During my field attachment, I gained exposure to the CIP process flow and learned how ore properties and operating conditions affect gold recovery.
This page will continue sharing mineral processing and extractive metallurgy concepts as part of my learning journey.
