Phase 1 progress at Julia Walker’s Arena: slope drains have been installed and strategically spaced to control the volume and velocity of runoff coming off the subgrade, helping prevent erosion and washout across the site. Minor rills have developed on the back slope from recent heavy rainfall, but overall the subgrade has held up exceptionally well under the conditions. After four consecutive days of significant rain, the drainage and stabilization measures are performing as intended and proving to be highly effective.
