The New Mexico Department of Transportation’s Target Zero Program is seeking presentation and workshop proposals for the 3rd Annual New Mexico Transportation Safety Summit, taking place in September 2026.

This year’s theme, “Cultivating Shared Responsibility of Transportation Safety in New Mexico,” recognizes that creating safer roads requires collaboration across our engineering, transportation and public-safety communities.

ACEC New Mexico encourages transportation engineers and firms to submit proposals showcasing:
🔹 Successful transportation safety projects
🔹 Innovative practices and initiatives
🔹 New research and effective safety strategies
🔹 Lessons learned that can benefit communities statewide
