Alfred State Dryland Designers Alfred State Dryland Designers is a team of mechanical engineers from Alfred State College (S.U.N.Y).

In partnership with SRI Global we will try to design a mechanical device to help with the cultivation of rice in developing countries. This team was put in place to design a mechanical device that will help with the cultivation of rice in developing countries. We will primarily focus on dryland weeders that will benefit these people in need. Our goal is to design an effective device with ease, com

fort and cost in mind. With the resources and information provided by SRI Global located in Ithaca N.Y., this goal will be attainable.
