With the arctic air settling into our area, now is the time to make sure your heating system is ready.

Before the cold really hits, please check the following:

✅ Check your furnace filter — if it’s dirty, replace it now
✅ Make sure all supply and return vents in your home are open and not blocked
✅ Verify that your furnace exhaust and intake pipes outside are clear of snow and ice

If your furnace isn’t heating properly or shuts down during extreme cold, these are the first things to check.
