August dump. 🌊🤍

A little REcharge by the ocean.
A little REstore through healing.
REconnect with family - especially with my Daddy arriving from the Philippines.
REdiscover the joy in simple things: dumplings, Thai tea, ube ice cream, chocolate cake, sunshine and salty air.

My first baby turned 18… and started college. 🥹

We celebrated, ate well, made RIMAN memories, and soaked up the last golden days of summer.

And somewhere in between, I made some truly meaningful connection, not surface-level networking, but the kind of people who care deeply, think bigger, and are out there changing their corner of the world. ✨

We also found ourselves back at Pitcher Park, where my Hubby and I once said forever… now standing there with the three beautiful lives that came after.

REmember.
REevaluate.
REjoice.
REalize how fast it all goes.

August felt like an end-of-summer film I wasn’t quite ready to finish.

These are the days I’ll want to REplay. 🤍✨

His feet grew. Time for new basketball shoes. 👟

I really appreciated this evaluation session & look forward to Lincoln’s growth in all aspects. The mental grit and discipline is what I’m most thrilled about, but also love watching him play 🏀 again with a high-IQ coach, like he did before.

Grateful for Coach Mike & Coach Isaiah for paving the way and building Lincoln’s foundation, displaying what a high-IQ Coach, not just in basketball, but also embodying high emotional intelligence. 🙏🏼

Great mentors and coaches in life are special! 🫶🏻

This summer, Skarlett is participating in Vitalant’s Student Leader Scholarship Program, an opportunity for students to demonstrate leadership through community service while helping ensure patients have the blood they need.

We’re inviting our family, friends, church family, and community to join us by donating blood at Skarlett’s Blood Drive on:

Circa 2002 with my beautiful Orange High girlies, brave enough to sing some karaoke. 🎤 I fell in love with the craftsmanship of that beaded marigold dress. I remember going with my Mom & sisters to Mission Viejo Mall to find my dress. 💛

Our prom was held at the old Marine Corps Air Station El Toro base in Irvine, CA.

I hadn’t met my hubby yet… but I knew his sweet family. It’s so wild to think that less than a year later, I’d meet him… and become besties with his Grandpa, a Marine veteran who met and fell in love with his Grandma Elaine at that very same El Toro base. 💛

Full circle moments are something else.
