Whistle Pig's Latest project is complete! Hurricane Helene damaged this beautiful home in Biltmore Forest. There was an oak tree that landed on the roof, damaging the roof and framing. We were able to restore the home to its previous condition and improve the curb appeal of this home. Restoration included framing, structural improvements, plaster crown moulding repair, paint, drywall, roof replacement, installation of solar powered venting skylights with solar powered shades and refinishing the original hardwood floors throughout the home. A special thanks to all of our trusted and skilled sub-contractors and engineers for their hard work as well as the homeowners for trusting us to restore their amazing home.

From concept to completion. This was a new build completed by Whistle Pig Construction LLC in 2022.

Crawl spaces are a source of moisture and mold. This can degrade structural framing and decrease indoor air quality. Conditioned, encapsulated crawl spaces are energy efficient and prevent mold growth. I designed this semi-conditioned, fully encapsulated crawl space with Stego-Crawl 15 mil. v***r barrier, R-10 rigid foam board insulation, interior drains, a dehumidifier and a sump pump that empties to an antifreeze discharge pipe.

2019 Renovation- Raising the ceilings on this 1940’s era home from 7’ to 8’6” at the peak. The outcome was worth the effort. Great collaboration between Whistle Pig, Josh, Dave and Medlock Engineering. Thank you gentlemen!
