Looking back at the renovation of a 170,000 SF industrial facility in Suwanee, Georgia. The buildout of the existing warehouse for Toyota Forklift Atlanta supported its headquarters and operational needs.

The complete renovation included:
- Offices, sales and training areas, and maintenance bays
- Demolition, concrete, roofing, storefront, millwork, and interior finishes
- MEP and low-voltage systems
- A new concrete patio and pavilion

40% of today’s construction workforce is expected to retire by 2030 and for every five skilled tradespeople who leave the industry, only two replacements are entering the field. Now is the time to invest in workforce development. Bringing more young people into the skilled trades starts with giving them opportunities to learn about the industry firsthand.

Skills Challenges give students the chance to put their skills to work while connecting with professionals in the field. Creating these experiences is an important step toward building the next generation of the construction workforce.
