Waveguide's project work is earning recognition in California. Our collaborations with architects and owners create some really beautiful and highly functional buildings.
We were pleased to see our work with SOM on Loyola Marymount University’s new School of Film and Television building (shown here) was recently awarded a merit award by the 2022 AIA CA Design Awards jury. Our California-based project team and Atlanta-based design team worked together with SOM to create this gorgeous facility.
Waveguide’s AV consulting and design services helped win the project points for Design for Economy, with the jury remarking, “The dense audiovisual teaching program with its typical high energy demand and cooling requirements, was offset by a sustainable building envelope, passive cooling strategies and optimized mechanical systems which yielded a very high performing, yet cost effective, building.”
