1 degree differential identified this anomaly! Just one-degree difference…. Why? It’s all about that resolution. Our FLIR T1020 camera system has a 1024 x 768 resolution or 786,432 pixels. This means 786,432 temperature measurement points on a single target. Higher resolution = better ability to spot small targets at larger distances. This is extremely important when performing building façade inspections. A lower resolution camera would have blended the pixel points and completely masked this defect. Now you know!

Just received our new next generation FLIR Zenmuse XT2 thermal sensor. The new high-resolution FLIR Tau 2 thermal detector is mounted next to a 4K / 12MP visual camera with incredible gimbal stabilization technology. Mounted to our M200 drone that gives us incredible flight times and maneuverability. Can’t wait to put her to work!

Aerial roof inspections using drones are the perfect addition to due diligence services for multifamily properties. During a single 14-minute flight, we were able to capture 491 high-resolution images of this 10.4-acre property. These images are then stitched together to create one large orthomosaic image that is easily evaluated to determine the as-is condition. In addition to the high-resolution imagery, the images can also be used to create accurate 3D models and DXF files automatically. Our reports provide the square footage, pitch, surface area, and slope details with all measurements at 99% accuracy. The best part... all of this valuable information is obtained without a ladder!
