In the market for a mini split?
We got you covered with many different options of equipment to meet any efficiency needs and applications!! 🔥❄️
Here we replaced a not so very old Daikan Mini Split that was installed by a big well known company in the area. The system was leaking at the evaporator coil and this customer has had prior issues with the system while using this other company.
First off, this company installed the mini with no access to the lineset for replacement down the road as the lineset fittings were buried behind the sheet rock as seen in the pictures. Second off, they kinked the lineset when trying to tighten the fittings causing a bad restriction for the system. This would cause poor efficiency and many other issues to the system. Lastly, in one of the photos you can see a small hole shot into the communicating wire that runs to the indoor unit. That is a nail hole……🙄 If this doesn’t scream poor craftsmanship, then I don’t know what does….
Thankfully we were able to fix the lineset and cable inside the wall and provide a future access point. We also raised the outdoor Heat Pump with a wall mounting bracket per customer request to provide a clean look and get it off the ground for protection. And of course can’t forget the surge protector installed at the outdoor disconnect, which the previous contractor failed to install.
