It is the year of the 350th Great Space Race. The culmination of thousands of species competing for the honor of the entire known universe. However, according to the Dashodan charts, the humans from Earth are quarantined off from the known universe and the Great Space Race. That is until Gelt from the Inguatoo and the "League of Be friendly to the Earth", petitions the Intergalactic Council of Higher Rules and Regulations to allow the humans to enter the 350th Great Space Race. The council reluctantly approves. However, Gelt must find the brightest and most advanced earthlings. He must then convince them to join the known universe and the Great Space Race in less than 2 days. Uncle Travis is having his annual Kentucky hoedown on the farm. They are mistakenly picked up by Gelt as the best planet earth has to offer.

Follow Pappy and Uncle Travis' family as they race a species of religious zealots and a punk rock alien band against unknown secretive forces with only a few days to save the entire known universe from pending destruction. Go BIG BLUE!
