We had an absolute blast this past weekend at our Step Into STEM event! We are so fortunate that we were able to host this event this year. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an amazing day full of STEM demonstrations.

Over the past few months, Junior STEM has been working on a new website. Since we are not able to operate as normal, we have created a section with exciting science experiments to do at home!

Welcome back everyone! Our first general body meeting of the semester will be this Wednesday, 1/15/2020, at 6:00pm in Skiles 255. We will be updating you guys on the happenings of this upcoming year while we munch on snacks. Hope to see you then!

Sign your child up for Step Into STEM 2019! Join us this Saturday, November 9th, for a day filled with hands on scientific demonstrations and keynote speakers! Open to all students in grades K-8th. No registration fee; Tshirt and lunch will be provided. You must register ahead of the event in order to participate.

This week at STEM Club: Catapults! Our students were able to see how different objects launched from the catapults that we made.

Are you an officer of an organization and need more volunteer opportunities? Are you a person that has a passion for something STEM related? Then please sign up to be a demonstrator or presenter for Step into STEM, a STEM fair for K-12 students hosted by the organization Junior STEM.

Demonstrators and presenters would be needed November 9th from 9:30am to 1pm at the MoSE first floor. . Example demonstrations include raisins in sprite, mentos in coke, elephant toothpaste, etc. Example presentations include bring a robot or model airplane and showing kids how it works. We are very flexible and will accept anything (within reason) that is related to STEM. Our event will serve approximately 200 students.

In order for this event to be a success, we need YOUR help to sign up as a demonstrator/presenter. Demonstrators/presenters will also get free pizza and a t-shirt.
