OpenTeams

OpenTeams OpenTeams®: AI you actually own. No black boxes. No vendor lock-in. Getting started is simple:

1. Get Started

Get started right away. Pay us and we pay them.

Just modular, open-source AI built around your mission, and accountable to you, not a platform. 🔓 OpenTeams is a network of open source architects (OSA) who are technology leaders in their industry and are available to help small and large companies build software solutions. By working with OpenTeams, your team will not have to learn how to build your software solution by trial and error. Instead,

OpenTeams will provide a vetted OSA with the industry, technology, and solution experience you need to guide your team and accelerate your time to market while reducing costs. OpenTeam will use its extensive network of open source architects and developers to quickly put together the right team to help you with your development project. Contact Us At www.openteams.com

Contact our team and give high-level descriptions and motivations for your project goals.

2. Select An Open Source Architect

We introduce you to an architect from our vetted network of Open Source Architects ready to help you with your project. We will work with you and the ESA to build the team you need from our combined networks.

3. We manage everything with one contract and ensure you are completely satisfied with the results.

Does readability still matter when AI writes most of your code?

Our engineering team shared opinions about this for a while. The answer isn't yes or no. It depends who reads the code after you.

Amelia Thurdekoos wrote about the conversation, plus the working habits the team landed on for reviewing AI-generated pull requests.

Read the full breakdown here: https://openteams.com/who-is-your-codes-audience/

Learn why your code's audience decides how much readability matters, as an engineering team debates AI-written code, review, and accountability.

We are excited to share that Rob Timpe will be speaking at the Santa Cruz PyTorch Meetup on October 6.

Rob works on the front end of torch.compile, known as Dynamo, and he will walk through using and debugging Torch.compile: the common failures, how to fix them, and recent work making errors easier to understand.

This meetup has grown into a real gathering point for engineers, students, and researchers across the Santa Cruz tech scene, and we are glad to be a part of it. If you are in the area, come out for food, good talks, and good people.

Bill Gates wrote today: "AI will either be the greatest equalizer ever invented, or the worst source of injustice."

For us, the difference comes down to this: who controls the intelligence.

We believe the answer is distributed ownership. Not more centralization.

Every organization that runs on AI needs to own its own intelligence infrastructure. The data. The context. The decisions.

Then tell us: Who should control AI?

Bill Gates explains the risks associated with AI and argues that they are manageable. Innovations often create new risks that need to be controlled.
