Upflush toilet install. New water line, new electric outlet gfci. Not the prettiest thing but its in a basement.

Customer had a sump pump that wasnt working. I tested the outlet (no power) i followed the wiring to 2 junction boxes (no power in either) followed the wiring to the electrical panel and found a blown fuse. Easy enough just replace the fuse. WRONG! Investigate what caused it to blow the fuse. The sump pump had a piece of plastic stuck in the impeller causing it to lock up and pull more power, also there are lights and a fridge plugged into the same circuit. Sump pumps should be on a dedicated circuit. Replace the fuse and check the gfci outlet. The outlet is tripping. I find a burnt outlet where the fridge is plugged in causing the short. Replace the outlet in series (when it shouldn't be with the sump pump) and now the gfci isnt tripping. Sump pump motor is burnt out so a replacement is needed. So in a couple of hours the problem is diagnosed and fixed.
