40x84x20’ twin 12x84’ lean-tos:

-8x8 CCA .80 construction
-2x2” square tube SC engineer - stamped trusses
-320 lbs concrete per pole
-Rebar uplift protection on all poles
-8x8’ horizontal headers
- Class 1 lean to trusses (not bar truss type). Notice the low-profile look
- 1/2” galvanized carriage bolts (no lags) used to connect trusses
-Premium trim - custom bends and lengths to minimize seams
- Custom 36’wide x 14’ deep
porch with 6/12 pitch roof system and built with 2x8” purlins vs 2x6 since it is 14’ deep
-Note: the doors & windows still need to be cut in
-The owners have big plans for phase 2 of this build. I don’t want to give anything away but will say that with 20’, there is room for a 10’ downstairs & 9’ upstairs.

Want to see a big one? Pics of a few recent builds around the Lowcountry coming up, including one tallllll pole barn..

The white / green roofed barn is a 40x84x20’h with twin 12x84 lean tos. One side has a custom 36’ wide, 14’ deep 6/12 pitch side entry. Note: the doors & windows haven’t been cut out yet. Also notice the horizontal 8x8 header across the vertical 8x8 poles and the 4”x8” 45 degree bracing. What do you think of the robust look? This is phase 1 of this build. The owners have big plans for this structure.

Other recents below: two 24x30 barns in crinkle black built in Beaufort, another 40x84x14 and a 40x36x8’ in crinkle black built over a custom silo to pizza oven conversion! Also notice the well pump house we had to straddle with two of the poles. No problem! Our crew’s motto has become: “no problems, only solutions.”

Speaking of the crew I’d like to give a huge shout out to Todd, Doug, Ty, Trevor, Steve and Dawson. Rain or shine, I can count on these pros to work safe, smart and hard…..every day.

Many thanks to our valued customers! We are currently booking into July with a few scattered openings before then. We don’t like providing long lead times and we know you don’t like waiting on us, so we are continuing to add quality equipment and staff. Thanks for your patience as we grow and scale up.

Inactive is not “inactive”….we have been busy, busy, busy building and not updating much. We’ve added a few building team members, more equipment and have completed some very nice pole barns. Stay tuned as we have more horse barns with added detail coming up on our schedule. We’re using the best materials available and have an incredible team who builds the absolute best constructed barns around. Am I biased? You bet, but I also look at quality and what we are doing with a high level of objectivity and am confident when I say “we build them the correct way.” Give us a call to see how our builds are different. Another large and high quality horse barn being completed near Aiken, SC. This beauty will be a 40x72x12’ with twin 10x60 lean-tos. After we complete our part the customer will be adding stalls, paddocks, tack room, etc. Our easy-going customer seems very appreciative of the attention to detail we incorporate in everything we build.

We’ve also continued on some fancy run-in sheds we’re building in the Lowcountry.

2026 is off to a good start for BarnWELL BUILT! Our crew is expanding, training, learning and focusing on teamwork, quality and safety. I could not be more proud of them!

God is good, all the time.

Merry Christmas and many thanks to our valued customers!

I haven’t posted much lately. You’ve had us busy! We’ve recently completed a 30x60x12’ 3/4 enclosed machine shed in Yemassee. We’re wrapping up some horse run-in sheds on the same property. We just completed a lean to addition in Wagener on a barn we recently built with a Crinkle Black roof. We’re currently building a 40x84x19’ with 12’ lean-to down both sides. This one will also have a 16’ lean-to off one gable end. All 3 lean-tos will connect and “wrap around.” We are also adding a custom 36’ side entry porch with a 36’ 6/12 pitch gabled roof. That is something you don’t see in a pole barn too often.

We’re booking into late March so don’t wait to get on the schedule. It is filling fast. We have some beautiful builds coming up!

We’re blessed to have the awesome staff we have, excellent equipment and customers who appreciate our commitment to building the absolute highest quality pole barns around.

We are growing, and always looking for our next team member. If you have framing / metal roofing experience, or are motivated to learn the trade give us a call. We work out of our shop near Barnwell, SC. Reliable transportation to/from the shop is a must. Only the dependable and hard-working will be considered for this high performing team.

Lowcountry beauty!

What a beautiful farm. We are building a couple of barns and run-in sheds on this farm in Yemassee. We were blessed with a little rain and that made it soggy this morning, but once the sun pops out we should have a beautiful stretch of days to build. Thank you Lord, for the rain and for an awesome crew who can GET IT DONE.

We are building a big barn with twin lean tos and will be adding a few more of these 12x12 run-in sheds like the one pictured. Let’s go…

We’re growing and looking for additional team members. If you have framing and / or metal roofing installation experience, drop us a line. The position is based out of Barnwell ,SC where our shop is located. The ideal candidate will live within 30 minutes of the shop, have reliable transportation, have the right experience, have a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Pay is dependent on experience but in the $25-40/ hr range.
