MARTHA LEE MOTORSPORTS Youth Mentoring Racing Program invites you to join in our mission to enrich the lives of the youth in our small town through off road racing. Our mission is to help our youth develop life skills by teaching them how to be a part of a team, to respect others and their roles within the team, to instill leadership qualities through responsibility and to build their self wor

th with qualities they can use in their everyday lives. Since September 7th, 2014 Martha Lee Motorsports has been mentoring youth ages 14-18 in all aspects of racing a Class 1600 off-road vehicle. They are learning skills such as welding, changing oil and tires, fabrication of the cars, using math such as measurements and geometry, and learning how to communicate efficiently with their teammates under intense pressure. They are also obtaining organization skills as they must keep the shop up to safety and cleanliness standards. We require our youth to uphold a respectful home life as well as maintain a B average in school. If they have graduated they must maintain a part time job with good reports from their employer. Once they have shown their ability to work proficiently with the team and in the shop they have the opportunity to ride in the car with a driver and eventually become a driver themselves. We have such a love for this ever changing, exciting, and competitive sport and through this program have found a way to pass our passion for off road racing onto the next generation. Success for such a new and unique program has not come without cost, this is why we are depending on the generosity and support of our community to sponsor our program and to help us keep our youth and this program in the lead! Off road racing has been at the heart of our small desert town for many generations and we implore you to invest in the future of Martha Lee Motorsports and the difference we can make in the lives of our youth for generations to come with this mentoring program.
