Below are the humidity level recommendations based off the outdoor temperatures

All Humidifiers should be adjusted accordingly

This is our personal home, as you see we too keep our humidifier under 25% humidity in extreme cold temps.

The biggest reason is this; Some of the humidity inside your home will inevitably pass through walls to the cold sheathing and studs. It will find The extra cold materials and stick to them. The more humidity you put in the air, the more you may be adding to the inside of your walls.

The more water v***r you put into those cold walls, the more likely you are to cause those walls to rot or grow mold.

You can literally rot your home from the inside out over a short period of time.
