This project was a special one for us.

Our client reached out after receiving a quote from a large out-of-town company that left them feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. They wanted a second opinion—and that's exactly why we believe local matters.

As a family-owned business, we don't have layers of corporate overhead or sales quotas to hit. We believe in honest assessments, fair pricing, and treating people the way we'd want our own family members treated.

In the end, our client got a beautiful new roof, peace of mind, and money left in their pocket.

👀 Can you tell which photo is the "before" and which is the "after"?

On this project, the answer isn't as obvious as you might think.

Not every roof that needs replacement has dramatic visual clues that homeowners can spot from the ground. Sometimes there aren't missing shingles or obvious leaks. In fact, this roof looked fairly similar before and after because the homeowners chose a comparable color.

What couldn't be seen from the driveway was the wear and deterioration that Brett found during a hands-on inspection. That's why it's so important to have a qualified roofing professional actually getup on the roof and assess its condition—especially if your roof is 20+ years old.

⚠️ Central Oregon friends — stay safe out there tonight.
We’re seeing some intense weather move through the area right now: thunder, lightning, hail, heavy winds, and even tornado warnings in parts of the forecast. Please make sure loose outdoor items are secured, stay indoors when possible, and avoid driving during the worst of it.
As roofers, storms like this always put us on high alert because wind and hail can cause damage that isn’t always immediately visible from the ground. Missing shingles, lifted flashing, clogged gutters, and small leaks can quickly become bigger problems once the weather clears.
After the storm passes, it’s a good idea to safely check for:
• shingles or debris in the yard
• water spots on ceilings
• gutters pulling loose
• pieces of flashing or metal around the home
If you suspect damage, document it with photos before making temporary repairs.
Most importantly, we hope everyone stays safe tonight. Central Oregon weather keeps us humble. ❤️

This is honestly one of the roughest roofs we’ve inspected in awhile 👀
The homeowner knew it was aging, but from the ground it’s hard to tell just how worn a roof really is until you get up close.
A few signs your roof may be nearing replacement:
⚠️ Cracked or missing ridge cap
⚠️ Curling or brittle shingles
⚠️ Granule loss
⚠️ Soft spots or sagging
⚠️ Multiple existing layers
⚠️ Leaks or water intrusion
The cracked ridge cap on this roof was especially concerning because it can allow water into the home over time.
The good news? Catching issues early is almost always cheaper and less stressful than waiting for an emergency leak.

Last night I attended my first ConnectW Bend event as an official member, and I left feeling genuinely inspired by the people, conversations, and sense of community in the room. Thank you to The Winery at Manzanita for hosting such a wonderful event!

As someone who helps run a local family business here in Central Oregon, I’ve realized more and more how valuable connection really is — not just in business, but in life. Behind every company, service, and small business is a real person trying to build something meaningful for their family and community.
