If you hear this sound that is abnormally loud, especially if you can hear a click directly after the buzzing stops, and directly before the buzzing begins on small closed-system coolers and ice machines, make sure to clean it then check the amperage into your condensing “unit” (check your fan and compressor separately if it is high) from your contactor or control!
P.S. On small closed system reach-ins it is common for the only safety switch to be an overload on the compressor!
