Metal roofing isn't a specialty I added to round out a service menu. It's where I came from.

I'm not here to talk anyone out of asphalt shingles. They're a solid product, and we install them. But I think
Homeowners deserve an honest comparison when they're making a decision this size.

A standard 30-year architectural shingle in Arkansas realistically lasts 18–22 years with our heat and storm cycles.

Wind rating on most is around 110 mph. Hail resistance tops out at Class 3 for most products. Warranty is typically
non-transferable and prorated after year 10. And they're not maintenance-free: algae, moss, and granule loss are
real.

Permalock aluminum is a different conversation. The wind warranty is 165 mph. Hail rating is Class 4, the highest
in the industry. Warranty is lifetime and fully transferable when you sell. It's maintenance-free and Cool Roof rated.

Yes, the cost is higher upfront. But you're buying a roof you'll never replace again. For a lot of homeowners, that
Math makes sense.

member pricing on any repairs. Extends your MD craftsmanship warranty from 5 to 7 years.

Shield Plus — $599/year ■ Most Popular Two annual visits. Everything in Shield, plus gutter cleaning up to 150
linear feet and a $150 annual material allowance. Warranty extended to 10 years.
