Aggregate Expansion is a common occurrence during winter when you put salt on the driveway to melt the snow. Once the snow melts, the water penetrates the cracks of the pavement.The water stays there and will freeze. As the water expands, it will move the concrete, creating the cracks in your driveway.

This floor had some major spalling on the cap of this concrete. They were set on bare concrete floor. Ended up taking it down to the aggregate and polishing. What a beautiful aggregate pattern!! Customer is very happy with the outcome!!
