A couple days late, but finally, it is spring has sprung! The crew is working hard at finishing up this beautiful barn located in Chisago. The large cupola that still needs to be placed on top will definitely add that finishing touch to it. Hopefully the weather remains in our favor for a bit here!

How has the start of the New Year been for everyone? We're enjoying the mild 40° weather and taking advantage of it before temperatures drop again. Our construction crew is currently building a large pole barn in Chisago City, and progress has been steady aside from brief interruptions due to inclement weather. Today, we had an unexpected fuzzy visitor on site taking advantage of the warm day as well. As much as I'm not a fan of bugs in the summer, it's a nice, unexpected surprise to see them in the middle of winter.

Welcome to the last week of July! How is it almost August already?! And will this heat ever end?! Between the rain and the heat, it's delayed some projects, but we are still trucking along and trying to get things done as soon as we can. We just finished the majority of this project last week. Timber walls with a paver patio and garden box built into it. Turned out great! Hoping you all have a marvelous Monday and great rest of the week 🌸

While doing a landscape job this week, I saw my first wooly caterpillar for the season and according to the wooly, our winter will neither be too harsh or too mild. Just a normal, MN winter (what is normal in this state anyways?! 🤣). Do you have any weird winter folklores you go by to predict it? What other signs by nature have you noticed that may tell you how this winter will be?
