Montana lifted restrictions on over the road dyed diesel use specific only to the timber and agriculture industries.

⛽Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras signed Executive Order No. 11-2026 today, 10/9/2026, temporarily suspending enforcement of specified Montana dyed-fuel restrictions for qualifying commercial motor vehicles directly engaged in agricultural or timber operations. The temporary enforcement suspension is effective immediately and continues through November 23, 2026.
