We are excited to announce we have been awarded the contract for the interior and exterior renovations of The Cornerstone Group building in downtown Ocean Springs on the corner of Government Street and Washington Avenue.

This historic building was originally constructed in 1909 as the Ocean Springs State Bank. The building has gone through several transformations over the years, with the last being performed in 1993. It has housed the US post office, Bailey’s Drug Store, and several banking institutions.

It’s time for this beautiful building to receive some TLC but also maintain its existing character.

Today we erected our construction fence and barricades and are gearing up to hit the ground running.

We are proud to announce that we have moved our office from 2011 Government St., Ocean Springs, to 875 Barthes St., Biloxi. We are a few blocks north of the Shuckers stadium on the east side of Caillavet St.

Ocean Springs will always be our hometown, as most of the team lives in Ocean Springs; but we are extremely excited to have our office, warehousing and fabrication under one roof.

We are fortunate to have the opportunity to purchase our new building just a few weeks ago. It has been a interesting move to stay the least! Our new building is almost 100 years old, and has a significant history behind it. As with any building of this age, it needs a little TLC to preserve it for years to come. Fortunately, the team at Versamax specializes in Historic Renovations so we are poised for the challenge.

We would like to thank all of our customers whom gave us the opportunity to be their contractor of choice, as this wouldn't have been possible without you. As we continue to strive for quality and excellence for all of our customers, we believe our new location will expand our capabilities and growth. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Friends, Looking for recommendations…I need a photographer (I think) that has experience in photos of historic drawings. Possiblly a mobile scanner….???

There are 5 drawings, Arch C size, 100 years old, onion skin paper, pencil lines.

Has to be performed on site (Biloxi), as they cannot be removed from the building.

Looking to preserve the history of these documents and digitize them and reproduce.
