With the permit going through, we were able to take out the column between 2 of the garage doors and install a monster header to this opening from two 8’ openings to an 18’ opening. Framing inspection passed and got the drywall up, and ready for the new garage doors!

Laundry room makeover. I don’t have any before pictures (gotta get better at that part). But something had been leaking for a long time. It took a couple fans, a dehumidifier, and 5 days to dry it out after the demo where I could start the rebuild. Also had to build a wall in the walk in closet and open up the wall in the laundry room and add a door to add another little closet to the laundry room.

Another solid week wrapping up. I was able to get a lot done and I’m pretty happy with how it’s all turning out. Definitely one of the fun builds I get to do sometimes. Learned a lot on these projects also, which is one of my core values and one of my favorite things about construction.

Got to spend the week up north working on a pretty cool backyard project. Can’t wait to get back up there to get all the finish work done! This one is going to be awesome!

Little laundry room update on the still need to add a countertop and some handles on the cabinets. But it’s a pretty big improvement from the 100 year old giant cabinet that was there before.

More remodeling on this 100 year old house. To remodel something this old, you have to be a bit of a problem solver. Once you start tearing into walls it’s amazing how many layers you uncover. It makes it fun and interesting.

Before, during, and after of a bathroom remodel. Lots of challenges when you’re dealing with a 100 year old house, but definitely worth it in the end!

I haven’t posted any projects for a while because they’ve all been pretty standard jobs. So here’s a photo dump of some of the stuff I’ve been up to. I’ve got a couple cool projects coming up that I’m really excited about and that will definitely be picture worthy. Trying to get more into custom projects and things that are unique. A couple more hours of some touch up work and this kitchen island will be ready for a paint job! This was a fun one to build. I had to rebuild all the cabinets, wrap everything in shiplap, and put in some built in shelves. It’s always fun when you get to do some custom work!
