Broke ground on another new build! Tomorrow I run rock all day for another job and then we’ll be back Thursday to start leveling and bringing in utilities.

Don’t forget about our fabrication shop… still making sparks fly and creating cool stuff! This is a mobile butcher truck for Alta Vista Meats out of Troy, Montana. Came in a regular box truck, left Freedomland dressed to kill 😉

One of our other site prep jobs is also in the construction phase and our tasks are nearly complete (minus the septic).

We’ve been very busy this season and I’ve slacked on keeping my supporters updated! Here are some updates on a few of the projects we’ve been working on. First up, cabin on the mountain! Foundation drain installed, covered in drain rock and fabric then backfilled. Propane line and all other utilities ran and EVERYTHING has been bedded before backfill. Yes, they do share the same trench but when you have to hammer rock out for every trench you dig, you try to consolidate. The propane line is sleeved in conduit to meet local requirements. The cabin is almost complete at this time and I’ll be making another trip up there for road work and water control probably in the spring.

We are about to check a big project off our to-do list(Still needs to be wired for completion). This bunker was designed, manufactured, transported, and installed by us! (and of course a crane service to actually plant the thing). Install went great!

Dump truck needed an organ transplant. The old generator was no longer operating at 24v but was trying to cook everything at 60v. Out with the old and updated with a new alternator. It’s also getting a big brother soon to help out 😬

Stem walls next, then we can come in with footing drains and backfill!
