The Residence at 165 Main Street now has a complete water feature in time for Summer thanks to the craftsmanship of the stone masons and tenders at Phoenix Bay State. A lot of hard work went into this project from the original prepping, to the complex layout and design of the anchoring system, to the final setting of the stone itself and the sealants. This was a great project and all involved should be proud.

The clips and vertical pieces of the Gridworx system have been installed at the new Boston University Center for Data and Computing Sciences near Kenmore Square in Boston. Next will come the cross members and then the 4" thick, hanging pieces of Grayson Slate.

It's Winter, and the Phoenix team is looking ahead towards Summer, constructing the new water feature wall at The Residences at 165 Main Street in Cambridge. On account of the varying stones sizes in the shingled courses, each stone and anchor are precisely positioned at different angles in order to achieve the desired effect. Not many could pull this one off, but the Phoenix masons and tenders make it look easy. We're excited to see the finished product (with no snow on the ground)

Great progress being made on Phase 2 of the Story Chapel Restoration Project at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Selective demo, impressive shoring, and marvelous rebuilds at different locations by the Master Craftsmen at Phoenix Bay State.

The talented Phoenix crew installing a Kemper Waterproofing System at the famous MIT Dome. You can see the epoxy primer and scarifications in the first picture followed by the application of the Kemper product in the next few. The Dome will be restored to its full grandeur after the waterproofing is complete. This is a great team effort with AECOM Tishman as Construction Manager. We are proud and grateful to continuously have the opportunity to work on such historical treasures throughout the MIT Campus.

The reinstallation of the Wolbach Facade at the Boston Children's Clinical Building for Children's Hospital in Boston is well underway by our Master Craftsmen. The columns have been set and topped with hand-carved Danby marble capitals. From tripping the first column through to installing soffits and the finished product, check out this portion of the project as it unfolds. You may remember a time lapsed video of the column salvage from the 2017 post. Three years later, the reinstall is well on its way to completion with more updates to come!

Phase 1 of the Story Chapel Restoration Project at the Mount Auburn Cemetery is complete. Great job by the entire Phoenix team putting this international undertaking together and doing a fantastic job rejuvenating a piece of Mount Auburn's history.
