Vincere Biosciences

Vincere Biosciences Increase mitophagy. Conquer disease. By doing so, we aim to transform the lives of hundreds of millions of patients across the globe.

Vincere Biosciences is dedicated to conquering age-related diseases through the development of small molecule therapeutics empowered by a suite of computational tools alongside traditional biology and drug discovery expertise. Our innovative approach focuses on developing small molecules that enhance the removal of damaged mitochondria by modulating mitochondrial quality control mechanisms, such a

s mitophagy. With the potential to be groundbreaking, these small molecules could become the world's first-ever medicines capable of slowing down or even halting the progression of debilitating conditions like Parkinson's disease and other age-related diseases. We welcome you to follow our page and other social media platforms for more content about our company, our dedicated team, and the science that drives what we do.

We are excited to share meaningful news for the Parkinson’s community.

Vincere has received a $5 million grant from The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research to help move our therapeutic candidate toward clinical trials next year. MJFF has supported our work since the beginning, and their continued partnership means a great deal to our team.

Our goal has always been simple and urgent: create treatments that address the root drivers of Parkinson’s disease. This funding supports the safety studies required before we can test our molecule in people.

To everyone living with Parkinson’s and to the families standing beside them, we are working for you every day. Thank you for inspiring this mission. 💙

What a week at BIO!

The theme this year is “The World Can’t Wait” and this urgency drives us every day as Parkinson’s patients are still without a disease stopping cure, and each of us ages without interventions to slow the decline.

We had thousands of exhilerating conversations with people passionately and relentlessly driving new medicines into the world. Whether you are a patient, an advocate, an inventor, a validator, a manufacturer, a clinician, a banker, or any of the 100s of other critical roles - we are all one team working to improve life and I appreciate the energy you brought to Boston this week!

We’re excited to share some big news:
Vincere Biosciences is partnering with Beiersdorf, the company behind trusted skin care brands like NIVEA and Eucerin, to explore the future of anti-aging science.

Mitochondria are the tiny engines inside our cells that power everything we do, and their decline plays a major role in aging. Vincere’s molecules boost mitophagy, the body’s natural process for recycling damaged mitochondria, helping cells stay healthy and resilient.

Beiersdorf has made a strategic investment in Vincere and will work to develop our patented mitophagy-boosting molecules into new skin care solutions while our team remains laser-focused on advancing our lead compound toward the clinic for Parkinson’s disease.

It’s a powerful example of how science built to fight disease can also improve everyday wellness.

💙 Huge thanks to the incredible teams at Beiersdorf and Vincere who made this possible and to everyone who’s supported us on this journey.

Our team member, Tufts University alumni, Kwadwo Opuni Adomako, joined a panel of other alumni to speak to the students of the Tuft's chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers to offer their experience and advice for their transition from graduation to industry and other opportunities in the STEM field.

We are lucky that Kwadwo's journey led him to Vincere Biosciences.
