Corporate office staff gathered together and decorated Christmas trees which were ultimately donated to local retirement and nursing care facilities. Employees used a variety of DPG bottles and closures and other items for decorations. This even sparked creativity, built team spirit, and brought holiday cheer to our employees, and the residents who are able to enjoy the trees throughout the season!

Our Valley City, ND plant participated in Summer Nights on Central, to welcome college students to town. Plant volunteers distributed 300 12-packs of Ramen Noodles to students and others. Drug Plastics is proud to support the communities where we live and work. Have a great school year!

Our Boyertown, PA facility is seeking Process Mechanics to join the team! This role is responsible for set-up, maintaining, and diagnosing extrusion and injection blow molding machines, as well as associated support equipment. Requirements:
➡ 1 to 2 years of mechanical experience or degreed/maintenance certificate required.
➡ Demonstrated strong skills in machinery set-up and repair in the plastics industry strongly preferred.
➡ Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

Imagine a world where post-consumer plastic did not have to be placed in a landfill or incinerated. Imagine if all the negative environmental impacts associated with landfilling and incineration, such as contamination from leaching, ingestion of microplastics, and increased carbon emissions, could be virtually eliminated forever. Wouldn’t it be a better planet if the amount of fossil fuels needed to supply the world with plastics were also reduced? This type of future is possible. Congratulations! The Benton Central Supermileage Team had another great year at the track on May 7th. The Benton Central cars drove a total of 72 miles on the day, and set a new school record high run of 925 MPG. Benton Central finished just outside the top three again this year, and has set their sights on making the podium in 2023.

Our Oxford Plant is proud to be a Major Sponsor of the Supermileage Engineering Challenge at Benton Junior | Senior High School! The objective of this challenge is to build a car with the highest fuel economy. In prior years, the team was able to compete with two vehicles in the prototype class and achieve fuel economies in excess of 750 miles per gallon! Best of luck at the competition on May 7th at the Subaru Test Track.
