Simple walking paths are a great way to enhance any back or side yard. Many different aggregates can be used like the crimson red rock below. Others can include crushed shell, white marble, pea gravel, or 57 stone compact well around stepping stones. Excellent aggregate choices for long walkways, driveways, or parking pads are; 57 stone, crushed shell, or asphalt millings. Compaction and ground preparation on these types of pathways is critical to make sure material stays at the correct thickness and stays in the desired areas.
