| Phase 1 is officially complete at Staunton High School, delivering a new 29,000 SF, two-story addition featuring 20 classrooms, including specialized science, STEM, and foods labs, along with a teacher's lounge, restrooms, and storage areas.

With Phase 2 demolition now complete, the next chapter is underway. Construction will soon begin on a new 33,600 SF competition gymnasium complex that will include a corridor and lobby, walking track, locker rooms, weight room, stage with theatrical lighting, restrooms, and related storage spaces.

We had a great time on this year’s Parkway Schools tour, visiting facilities across the district and seeing the progress being made to enhance learning, accessibility, and technology.

The tour showcased just a portion of the work completed this summer across 16 schools and one district facilities and grounds building. Improvements ranged from new classrooms, playgrounds, and athletic facilities to upgraded student gathering spaces, health and life safety enhancements, critical infrastructure improvements, and exterior upgrades, all completed within a limited summer construction window.

We're proud to partner with Parkway School District, Bond Architects, Inc., WSP in the U.S. architects, and the subcontractors to help bring these improvements to life in support of the district's commitment to students, staff, and the community.

| Poettker Construction welcomed Mater Dei Catholic High School's building trades class for a tour of the headquarters we built for a behind-the-scenes look at the construction industry.

Students heard from leaders across multiple departments about the many career paths available in construction, from project management and estimating to safety, field operations, and support services.
