The Chartiers Valley Robotics Team, Horsepower, started back in 2013-2014 with a dream to become the very best, like no one ever was! We became the Rookie All Stars that year and made it all the way to the FIRST! Robotics World Championships! Hard to believe it was our first year! The 2016-2017 school year started out with a scrimage match with the Girls of Steel, helping to fine tune our fine mac

hine the Silver Charm. At the Greater Pittsburgh Regionals, we ranked 14th overall and 7th in Offensive Power Rating. We were chosen by the Beak Squad and P.A.R.T.S. to join the 6th ranked Alliance. We battled our way through the quarterfinals, winning 2-0. The semifinals were scary when we had to redo our second match, but we swept through 2-0. The finals were tough and we ended up runner ups. However, our effort showed when we were chosen as the Wildcards! Next stop, the FIRST! Robotics World Championships in St. This could never have happened without the support of our school Chartiers Valley and our AMAZING sponsors Bechtel and 84 Lumber. Thank you so much for everything.
